Mrs. Jennifer Barber
Studio Owner/Director
As previous manager of DancEtc I am proud to be the new owner. I am pasionate about dance and dance education. It is my goal to provide the best dance education for my students by employing a highly trained staffed and state of the art dance facility.I have always had a passion for the arts and love providing a place for children to foster their own appreication and spark their own creativity. Before starting at DancEtc I owned a children's art enrichment franchise called KidzArt - an after school art enrichment program that not only taught children how to draw but inpsired creativity and built self confidence. While owning KidzArt I recieved two franchise awards and at one time was the largest franchise owner with territories covering Citrus, Hillsborough, and Northern Pinellas counties. Before my KidzArt endvor I was a stay at home mom, fininace speacilist in the Army National Guard, and a pre school teacher. While teachig preschool I recieved numerous Quality Child Care awards from CDS of Hernando county. My goals for DancEtc is to keep providing oustanding dance instruction of the highest quality. Provide a postive experince for children to build on thier creativity & passion.
Ms. Patricia Storelli
Ballet Teacher/Choreographer
Patricia Storelli is a professional Ballet Teacher and choreographer who taught in most European countries and is currently a freelance Teacher in the United States.
She received her professional training at the “La Scala” Theatre Ballet School in Milan (Italy) and became a Member of the Company where she performed in most ballets of the classical repertoire.She danced many leading roles like The Lilac Fairy and Blue Bird Pas de Deux in Sleeping Beauty, Sugar Plum Fairy in Nutcracker and Giselle.
She continued her training with world renowned teachers Yvette Chauviree and Daniel Frank from the Paris Opera, Anne-Marie Holmes, former Bolshoi’s principal Irek Muhamedov, David Howard, Rosella Hightower and English National Ballet’s Artistic Director Wayne Eagling.Patricia Storelli started her teaching career at age 25 and studied with the Royal Academy of Dance to obtain her teaching qualifications. She became a Registered Teacher and Member of the Royal Academy of Dance (since 1985) after obtaining the RAD Teaching Certificate and Teaching Diploma with Anatomy and History of Ballet.She has been entering students for RAD exams since 1985 with a 100% rate of Pass and recently obtained a BA (Hons) in Dance Education from the University of Surrey (England).In 2006 she was appointed as a Mentor of the Royal Academy of Dance for candidates enrolled in the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies.She is a free-lance writer and ballet historian and writes ballet articles for the Diary of the Royal Academy of Dance and other dance publications.Miss Storelli has been Artistic Director of West Florida Youth Ballet in Safety Harbor (Florida) for two years and she is one of the principal teachers at Etudes de Ballet in Naples and Leggz Dance Academy in Orlando. She stages the Russian version of Nutcracker every year for several schools and she is a Member of Dance Masters of America and a Ballet Teacher at the Manatee School for the Arts in Palmetto, Florida.
She is at present the Director of the RAD curriculum at Sarasota Dance Theatre in Sarasota.Her main focus is now on education and teaching students professionally at all levels.Patricia is also an adjudicator for Dance Competitio
Mr. Matthew Stutsman
Dance Instructor
Matthew Stutsman grew up outside Chicago and attended a fine arts high school where he was first introduced to ballet and modern dance. He sought outside training, and under Teddi Burgess at Forest Hills Dance Academy in Rockford, IL he was exposed to the world of dance competitions and the professional studios in Chicago. By the time he was a senior in high school he had received Joe Tremaine’s single convention and National scholarship to study at his studio in Hollywood. He was receiving overall awards at numerous competitions as well as taking classes at Lou Conte’s, home of Hubbard Street Dance, in Chicago. Matthew attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana on a dance scholarship, trained in Chicago on scholarship, apprenticed, performed and taught jazz classes with Gus Giordano’s Jazz Dance Chicago, apprenticed with the River North Dance Company, and performed at the Chicago Theatre when Disney released Hercules. Matthew trained on scholarship in Hollywood at the Joe Tremaine Dance Center (getting signed by an agent out of class) attended classes at the Edge, and performed in Industrials while in California.
Matthew has performed in Hawaii for 7-Up, toured through Hong Kong and China alongside a European dance company, danced with Celebrity Cruise Lines on the Flag ship, is featured in Dance Caravan Break-down videos, and secured industrial dance work for Clairol while in Chicago.
In 2000, Matthew opened a dance school in Springfield, Missouri which was featured in Dance Spirit Magazine as one of the Top 50 Dance Schools on the Move in 2006. His students continue to achieve and surpass his expectations winning diamond, platinum, first places, scholarships, cash awards and Elite Dancer Awards. His choreography pushes to make the audience think, have a response, and an emotional reaction. Since 2001, Matthew's dancers broke onto the scene and continue to entertain and surprise their audience. Matthew additionally travels back to Chicago in the summer (usually with a group of dancers in tow) to take summer technique class and attend Jazz Dance World Congress.
I have additionally trained dancers from scratch (age 4) to become WCDE Elite Dancers whom, most recently, performed at WCDE Nationals dancing back-up for Deborah Cox (July, 2008).
In January 2009, Matthew traveled to Sydney, Australia and trained at Sydney Dance Company.
In May of 2009 his competitive ballet group won a choreography award.
Matthew has also taught clinics and was on staff at numerous other studios in and around the suburbs of Chicago, IL. (between 1993 - 1998)

Ms. Kylee HoaglinDance Instructor
Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Kylee Hoaglin has always had a passion to dance. For over 12 years she has studied many dance styles such as: Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Point, Modern, Acrobatics, Lyrical and Hip-Hop. She trained in gymnastics and was a competitive cheerleader. Kylee traveled to LasVegas, New Mexico and Orlando, FL to perform in State and National Competitions. She danced competitive for three years and enjoyed the experience of being a team player and a soloist receiving many High Platinum, Platinum and High Gold awards. She has competed in many Competitions such as Showstopper, Primetime, Dance America and International Dance Challenge. She qualified for Miss Dancer of the Year and Miss IDC where she placed in the Top 12. In 2008 she was one of the select few to have the opportunity to dance at Walt Disney World in a Showcase Performance. Kylee auditioned for the Moscow Ballet Company and was selected to perform The Nutcracker Production for an entire Christmas Season.She has attended several workshops and has had the honor of learning from so many talented Choreographers such as Mia Micheals, Shane Sparks and Wade Robson and Dave Scott and enjoyed enhancing her dance skills by attending Master Classes from Sarah Jo Fazio and Robbie Mackey.Kylee was a Signed Model for 3 years with Michele Pommier Management of Miami Beach, Florida and has been in print for companies such as Quella and the Gap. In 2008 she was crowned Miss Teen Ybor City and in 2009 She was crowned MISS HERNANDO COUNTY.Kylee now can be seen performing weekly at Weeki Wachee as a Mermaid in the Underwater Theater. This has allowed her to combine her dance skills and her love for the water to achieve her dream job and the chance to be a positive role model to other little girls and boys hoping to someday be a Mermaid too.Her focus as a dance teacher is to inspire her students to reach for their goals and she hopes to stimulate and enrich dancers physically, mentally and emotionally in that they become well-rounded dancers in body, mind and spirit.
Ms. Karyn DeLoachDance Instructor
Karyn began dancing at the age of 9 in the small town area near Crystal River, FL. When Karyn began dance, she loved the rhythms and intricacy for tap. She began competitions at 11 and this fueled her wishes to learn more about dance. When DancEtc. opened up for its first students, Karyn was among the charter students to dance at the studio. Throughout Karyn’s 13 years of dance, she has studied under tap teachers and choreographers such as Mike Minery, Shae Sullivan, Gil Stroming, AJ Russo, Chris Irk and many others including DancEtc.’s very own Ashley Surkamer. In an effort to learn more stylization of tap, Karyn has visited New York City for the Break the Floor and Break And Shake dance conventions. Karyn has also attended dance conventions such as Jump in Texas as well as Orlando, and also visited studios in Chicago, Illinois. Also, during her dance career, Karyn won awards such as “Broadway Bound” for a musical theater routine, took part in Applause’s Best of the Best for a duet titled “Elegance,” 2nd Runner Up Miss Showbiz, as well as several top 10 placements for solo routines.A graduate of Crystal River High School, Karyn is currently a student at the University of South Florida working toward achieving her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.During her years living in Tampa, she has taught for a small traveling studio instructing students at private institutions. This has directed her to a career of teaching dance and is excited to share her passion for tap dancing. Karyn is thrilled to be joining the DancEtc. staff in the upcoming year.
Ms. Lyn DaSilviaDance Instructor
Lynn da Silva was raised in New Jersey at the age of 4. She is one of 6 siblings and has 3 nieces and 4 nephews. Lynn always had a passion for dancing. Her older brother Paul was a dance instructor at Arthur Murray dance studio. She began doing choreography at the age of 18. What inspired her to take dancing lessons was years of watching dance movies with her mom featuring Eleanor Powell, Fred Astaire, Donald O’Connor and other brilliant dancers. She and her family moved to Miami, where she studied Tap, Jazz and Ballet at Dancer’s Gallery, Dance Masters & Mary Linick dance studio. Lynn then moved back to NJ in 1999 and continued pursuing Tap and Broadway Jazz classes at Studio Workshop and Broadway Bound. She has done several dance performances to music from “Chicago” “It too darn hot” and “42 St.”. She continued her training in New York City, at workshops such as N.Y. Broadway Dance Center and New Dance Group. She was privileged to be taught by Ex-Broadway Dance Performers such as one year with Beatrice Laverne, one year with Mr. Jim from Musical Broadway “Cats”. She also took summer classes with Germain Goodson who was from the original Broadway musical “ Black and Blue”, and Ms. Munoz from Broadway musical 42 St.. She has also studied many other dance styles such as Basic HipHop, Salsa, Merengue, Swing, Ballroom, Argentino Tango and Country Line dancing. She has also performed in Ballroom showcases. Her favorite hobby became a dream come true when she was hired in 2002 to teach children as well as adults at Dance Power dance studio in New Jersey. She has choreographed several dance recitals to music from “Thoroughly Modern Millie” “42 St.” “Steppin Out” “Hello Dolly” and more. She was also an assistant and substitute dance instructor at Broadway Bound Studio where she also received training in teaching children with special needs. In the past she has also been involved with the deaf community. As a dance instructor she finds great joy in inspiring her students to grow and reach their full potential.
Besides dancing, Lynn also enjoys rollerskating, skate boarding and playing volleyball. She also teaches dancercise, which she combines different styles of dancing to her high-energy exercise routines.
Mr. Aj TrocheDance Instructor
Never being exposed to the dance community, AJ Troche's interest of dance was sparked while attending his brothers first dance recital. He started dance class to see if it would be something he would be interested in pursuing. From his first dance class the passion grew and he was drawn to learning the various styles of dance. Throughout his 7 years of dance training, he trained in hip hop, jazz, lyrical/modern, ballet,acro, and tap. Within two years he was invited to join the competition team. His first year on team his solo placed 1st at DanceAmerica Nationals and he received the title of the Junior Dancer of the Year. while continuing on team he took on winning another title at DanceAmerica Nationals as Senior Dancer of the Year. At International Dance Challenge he was awarded the tiltle MR. IDC 2009. A Special Dance Recognition was awarded to AJ by the director of DanceAmerica/DanceOlympus for the 2006 National Danceweek Centerstage Award. AJ has attended such competitions at regional and national levels at DanceAmerica, International Dance Challenge(IDC), Showbiz, Showstoppers, and Primetime. AJ won Double Platinums, Platinums, High Golds, and Golds in Solo's, Duets, and other group dances. For the solo competitions he received Highest Scoring Male Soloist. AJ attended master classes from Sarah Jo Fazio, Robbie Mackey, and Sam Fiorello. He also choreographed a competiton solo that received recognition as an aspiring Young Choreographer. He has been a student demonstrater and an Assistant Teacher.
AJ currently is attending Pasco-Hernando Community College working towards his Associates Degree in Business Management. AJ hopes to inspire his students in achieving their own personal goals in all of their endeavors. He looks forward to working with his new students and is excited to share his passion of dance to others.
Ms. Megan TuiteDance Instructor
Megan began her dance training at the age of twelve. She began dancing at DancEtc. with such classes as Hip Hop and Jazz, and broadened her education throughout the years by taking Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Cardio Barre, Jumps & Turns, Musical Theater, and Tumbling classes. She has attended various conventions from which she obtained both more experience and a greater thirst for the stage. Megan took classes from Anthony Russo, Danny Wallace, and Donovan Helma of the Tap the Map convention held at DancEtc. in 2008 and received a scholarship for her efforts. Megan also attended classes taught by Avi Miller and Ofer Ben (Miller & Ben tap shoes) in multiple tap conventions, and received instruction from Amber Krupski of the Muse convention in 2007. At Tremaine Dance Convention, Megan attended various Senior classes under the instruction of Jeff Amsden, Desiree Robbins, Keri Lagrand, Marty Dew, Nick Drago, and Ian Carney.
Megan has been a DancEtc. Company member for the past four years and having loved every minute of it, is about to embark on her fifth and final year in Company. She has attended such competitions as Masquerade, Applause, Sophisticated Productions, Showstopper American Dance Championships, State Dance Championships, Nexstar, and KAR (Kid's Artistic Review) Nationals, along with other various National Competitions. Alongside her team members, Megan participated in winning many Platinum, High Gold, and Gold awards. Megan performed a Duet with TJ Fisher in 2008 which won a Platinum and an Overall Award at Applause Nationals. Megan's most recent solos "Fidelity" and "Guitar" won Overall awards at Showtopper in 2009, and Megan also took part in "Ringtones" winning an Overall award at Showstopper this past year. She is looking forward to hitting the stage this competition season!
Megan plans on pursuing a career as a professional dancer and is interested in an internship in New York City after graduating in 2010. She hopes to audition in New York while engaged in college classes online. Having participated in productions with Citrus High School's Drama Troupe 4405 and assisting with choreography in her drama club, she has developed a passion for the stage in the theater sense as well as with dance.
Overall Megan has developed a great appreciation for the Arts and a great love for all things dance! After pursuing a career as a professional dancer, she hopes to have a studio of her own someday.
Mrs. Pamela Rutzebeck
Fittness Instructor / Personal Trainer
Pam began her Fitness Career 6 yrs. ago when she was encouraged by another Fitness Instructor to turn her hobby into her new career. Having lead and active lifestyle all her life, Pam used her experiences in various sports such as Softball, Swim Team, Weight Lifting Team, Gymnastics, Dance (Ballet, Pointe and Ethnic Dance) to lead the way. It seemed only natural that she would choose a path in Fitness. Today, she holds certifications from AFAA and Fitour in Primary Group Exercise, Pilates Mat Work Instruction, Personal Training, Aqua Instruction and Enhanced Lower Body Design. am designs her classes to deliver a total body workout, keeping it interesting by using well choreographed routines set to funky, upbeat music and offering a different exercise class daily. She understands the challenges of learning in a group setting. Therefore, Pam has an open class format making it possible for anyone to start her classes at anytime while teaching to all fitness levels. She teaches through repetition, uses good cueing and effective safety techniques so that you are guaranteed an awesome workout. Pam’s other interests include Kayaking, Amateur Photography, Travel and she is dedicated to her work in Rescue of Toy Breed Dogs. She is the Mother of three adult children and a new Grandmother. Pam believes that an active lifestyle is the key to a Happy, Healthy YOU. She aspires to help others SET and ACHIEVE their fitness goals! Pam welcomes everyone to try their first class for FREE.
